The first five years after college graduation can be very daunting, especially when you want to work in the film industry. Navigating trending topics like AI and the current job market for BFA and BA graduates in film, how can we steer our thinking and determination in the right direction? For my intro to digital media skills class (CMNS 280), we were instructed to create a 4-8 minute podcast interviewing someone in our field— this could include a peer, teacher, or professional who works in the field. For my podcast I interviewed my film student peer and friend who I’ve known since freshman year, Dabi Huynh, as we talked about our plans for graduating and what paths the film industry is taking and changing as time and technology advances.
